This was run for the Social Zebras LifeStyle Improvement club.
This is a very motivated group of guys who are used to moving outside their comfort zones and this comedy course with a showcase was just another notch on the bed post, so to speak.
We had about 10 guys who were interested in doing this. The first workshop had about 15 guys turn up which was too big for starbucks so we had this workshop in the park.
I broke this into 2 parts the first part was a lecture with powerpoint slides.

The 2nd part of the workshop was creating a circle and putting one person at a time in this, and we dissect him from his looks, clothes, name, background, job, attitude. basically anything and everything about that person.
This was carried over onto the 2nd workshop as we didn't finish in the first one.
The rest of the workshops were doing exercises and developing the material from your own personal background and looks.
on 27th Sept. 2014, we had a workshop organised by Henrik, where everybody got up and did their routines led by me. This was the first time most of them had got up in front of a group.
so my emphasis was more on getting them up and talking, rather they trying to be funny.
several were very nervous and refused to come up, but we gently encouraged them up on stage, for which they were very grateful to me for afterwards.
